Becoming a Volunteer
Step 1: Apply
Complete our online application through BetterImpact:
Apply Online
Paper applications available at our Centre if preferred
Step 2: Interview
- Meet with our volunteer coordinator
- Discuss your interests and availability
- Learn about specific opportunities
- Ask questions about volunteering
Step 3: Screening
- Complete a criminal record check
- Online or at local RCMP office
- Required for everyone’s safety
- Provide references
Step 4: Orientation
- Attend general orientation
- Receive program-specific training
- Review volunteer guidelines
- Sign Code of Conduct
